The ALMICRO KW-900 Tool Maker Microscope is a high-precision dimensional measurement microscope, engineered for tool rooms, inspection labs, and manufacturing quality control. Unlike MM-series metallurgical microscopes (MM-5 / MM-5A / MM-6), which focus on surface inspection, microstructure analysis, or hardness measurement, the KW-900 is purpose-built for accurate linear and angular measurement of components.
It features high-precision X-Y micrometer-controlled ball-bearing slides with a least count of 0.01 mm / 0.005 mm, enabling exact measurement of tool profiles, edges, radii, and mechanical parts. The rotary stage with 360° rotation and 30° inclined observation tube allow precise angular measurement and comfortable long-duration inspection.
With both transmitted and incident illumination, the KW-900 supports measurement of opaque and transparent components, making it ideal for dies, punches, gauges, PCBs, precision machined parts, and calibration tasks.
