Thank you for choosing www.labitems.co.in. Please read the following carefully to ensure a smooth ordering and delivery process.
1. Payment and Processing Time
We require 100% advance payment along with your confirmed order.
Standard processing/lead time is 10–15 working days after we receive payment.
2. Shipping Terms
Our quotes are usually based on C&F (Cost & Freight) incoterms.
We can also ship on EXW (Ex-Works) or FOB terms if you prefer to arrange your own pickup.
Regardless of shipping terms, the buyer is responsible for customs clearance in their country, we can't be held responsible for any reason whatsoever it may be.
We do not charge separately for packing and handling when we provide standard shipping quotes (usually under C&Fterms). These services are already included by default in our quoted shipping cost.
However, if you prefer an EXW (Ex-Works) shipping arrangement and plan to arrange your own transportation, please inform us in advance. In such cases, we will need to add separate charges for packing and handling to your quote.
We can also provide quotes under FOB (Free on Board) terms upon request.
3. Customs Clearance Responsibility
Each country has different import rules.
It is your responsibility to:
Understand your local import regulations.
Arrange required paperwork.
Appoint a customs broker or clearance agent (CHA) if necessary.
We cannot assist in clearing customs in your country or be held responsible for non-clearance.

- Review the HSN codes provided in your quotation.- Check with your local customs or appointed broker to verify if any special import licenses, permits, or compliance certificates are - needed for these goods.- Prepare all required documentation in advance, ideally before the shipment arrives, to avoid delays, extra storage charges, or the risk of your shipment being held at customs.
By preparing ahead, you can ensure a faster, smoother customs clearance process and reduce the chances of unexpected issues.
4. Delivery Timeline and Tracking
Once we dispatch your order, you will receive an email with tracking details.
Packages usually arrive in your country within 5–7 business days after dispatch.
Please contact your local FedEx office as soon as you receive the dispatch email to:
Confirm what documents are needed.
Ensure fast customs clearance.
5. Duties and Taxes
Duties, taxes, or any other import fees are your responsibility.
These charges vary by country, and we are not able to estimate or include them in our quotes.
6. Important Reminders
- Report any missing or damaged items within 7 days of receiving the shipment.No claims will be accepted after this period.
If you expect to provide any paperwork for customs, please email it to us in PDF format before we dispatch the goods, so we can include it with the shipment.
Failure to contact the local courier may delay customs clearance and could lead to storage or demurrage charges, which you will be responsible for.
7. Responsibility of the Buyer / Consignee
It may be noted that importers are fully responsible for:
Tracking your shipment.
Paying duties and taxes.
Providing customs documents.
Clearing the shipment in your country.
We do not quote or ship under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms due to varying and unpredictable import charges in each country.
