Recommendations
Can be used to work with any kind of aquatic insects that are upto 4mm in size. These pipettes are great way to improve daily lab activity to change the water of the larval trays as single suction can lift upto 100ml volume of water with insects. These pipettes are great way to separate field collected aquatic stage insects from the collection container or laddle bowl.
Care Instructions
Don't use to work with harsh chemicals. Wash thoroughly with tap water after use. Try to see visually if there any leftover debris or larvae in the suction bulb.
Product Details
Several types of larval pipettes for various needs; 5ml blunt end 4mm pipettes for regular single pupae screening, 30ml blunt end pipettes for regular bulk transferring larvae for regular colony maintenance, 60-100ml capacity pipette for field screening or transferring the samples under field conditions, disposable 3ml pipettes for contaminant free transfers where fear of contamination through cultures is high.

Tapered Glass Pipette
Dropper with latex rubber teat, 15 cm length. Ideal for collection of 1st and 2nd instar larvae. Tapered glass for non-invasive collections without damaging sensitive bodied larvae.
Plastic Tapered Pipettes (LI-MR-02) Pack of 50
The larval pipettes are made of PP-LD and are perfect way to transfer all stages of mosquito i.e, 1st instar to pupae. They are clean and transparent so you could see the left-over larvae in the pipette and there are no chances of cross contamination in insectary where different species or strains of mosquitoes are being grown in a lab. Further, these are available in sterile form so when colony purification is being conducted for eliminating bacterial or fungal contamination, you could very well use these sterile pipettes until purification process completed. They can be used in multiple instances in the laboratory to transfer liquids to cotton for example the amino-acids infused sugar solution for feeding adult mosquitoes.
