The dual model light trap that works both as a UV light trap and as a CDC traditional miniature light bulb trap. The same trap supplied with the dual set up under a single toggle switch. Using the toggle switch the required lighting system can be used one at a time i.e. trap will run either on UV or on miniature bulb. Please watch a working video for more information. The trap has extensively been tested under indoor and field conditions successfully. The unit has been tested against various insect species and is capable of catching Aedes mosquito in doors. The unit has been constructed keeping in view of the field and rugged conditions. The fan assembly is not visible outside which is cased in a ABS shield casing as shown in the picture. The unit has a rain shield to protect unit and its electronics and electrical components from rain. The trap is supplied with insect collection cages which are removables from the main unit. One cage can be installed and the other can be used to replace the existing cage in the next day to replace the old. No need to work in the field with mosquitoes as the cage can be carried to laboratory and work with the same at convenience. One field bag will be provided to hold all of the items together. Two units of 12v 7ah will be supplied along with a one powerful, auto-cut off charger to be used to charge the batteries conveniently.
