Ovi Trap for Mosquito Collection and Surveillance
Mosquito egg collection paper is specially made for better oviposition of mosquitoes for egg laying. The paper holds water for more than 24 hrs which cures or matures eggs for perfect hatching. The dry paper is light to dark brown in color and upon soaking turn dark brown to black color. Since the paper is made of natural pulp, field soaking in ovitraps for couple of days will attract more mosquitoes for egg laying. Watch a working video here

Description:
Ovi trap Black Color for mosquito sampling and surveillance. These containers also be used for regular eggs collection in running insectary for cyclic colony maintenance. One another area of application is to track the efficiency of the mosquito control interventions in the field, collection of samples for molecular work, or for establishing new mosquito isolates from different geographical regions. Each of the trap comes with a brown high-capillary paper for collecting the eggs LI-MC-01. Additional egg collection papers can be purchased separately from us.
