The PRIME Zoom Stereo Microscope is a major advancement over the fixed-magnification STB III, introducing a smooth continuous zoom system (6.4:1) that allows magnification to vary seamlessly from 7× to 45× without changing objectives. This gives far greater flexibility for both wide-area viewing and fine detail inspection compared to the STB III’s limited 20×/40× steps.
It upgrades the viewing head to an inclined trinocular tube, enabling simultaneous visual observation and camera attachment for imaging and documentation. Built-in dual 3W LED incident and transmitted illumination provides bright, uniform lighting control for both opaque and transparent specimens, eliminating the need for external light sources.
Mounted on a sturdy pillar or rack-and-pinion stand with precision focusing and object clamps, the PRIME model delivers smoother operation, wider magnification range, and digital-ready capability, making it ideal for advanced education, research, electronics inspection, and precision assembly—far beyond the basic stereo viewing of the STB III.
