The VG-2 Student Microscope is a straightforward introductory model for classroom use, offering the same essential optical configuration as the KG-2 with 10× and 40× achromatic objectives, a straight monocular viewing tube, and separate coarse and fine focusing knobs for easy operation.
Like the KG-2, it uses a fixed Abbe condenser (NA 1.25) with iris diaphragm, a stable 110×110 mm stage with clips, and traditional plano-concave mirror illumination, making it suitable for basic biology and school laboratory exercises without the need for electrical lighting.
Positioned as a simple, economical alternative to the KG-2, the VG-2 delivers comparable magnification and fundamental functionality for routine student observation and introductory microscopy training.
