The Micron Cresta ZS 50 Plus and ZS 50i microscopes are built for high-accuracy research and clinical analysis. A rigid single-mould arm structure with viewing window ensures excellent stability and reduced vibration for crisp, repeatable imaging.

An inward ball-bearing quadruple revolving nosepiece combined with a ball-bearing low-drive coaxial mechanical stage delivers ultra-smooth, backlash-free slide movement and precise specimen positioning. Illumination is provided by a built-in 3W LED system with intensity control, working with a focusable Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) and iris diaphragm to optimise contrast and resolution.

Both variants feature a 30° inclined Siedentopf-type trinocular head, enabling comfortable binocular viewing along with a dedicated camera port for digital documentation and live display.

Optical differences define the two models:

• ZS 50 Plus:Plan achromatic objectives for flat, edge-to-edge clarity in routine research work.

• ZS 50i:Infinite plan achromatic objectives for superior optical correction and compatibility with advanced accessories.

A WF10×/20 mm wide-field eyepiece provides a larger viewing area for faster scanning. Both models include battery backup for uninterrupted operation during power outages and are protected with anti-fungus optical treatment for durability in humid environments.
