The Cresta XS 50 / ZS 50 Clinical Microscope is a modernized upgrade over the Bino CXL, featuring a redesigned compact single-window arm structure for higher rigidity, reduced vibration, and a cleaner, ergonomic profile. While the Bino CXL focuses on advanced coaxial controls, the Cresta series enhances overall stability and ease of use with a ball-bearing outward-facing quadruple nosepiece and smoother ball-bearing low-drive coaxial stage for faster, more precise slide navigation.
Both models include a focusable Abbe condenser (NA 1.25) and 3W LED illumination with intensity control, but the Cresta ZS 50 steps further with plan achromatic objectives for flatter, sharper images across the full field, compared to standard achromats in earlier models. The 30° inclined ergonomic observation head improves viewing comfort during long sessions, and the ZS 50 variant adds battery backup for uninterrupted operation during power cuts.
Designed for routine clinical and pathology laboratories, the Cresta XS 50 / ZS 50 delivers better structural stability, upgraded optics (in ZS 50), and improved ergonomics compared to the Bino CXL, making it ideal for continuous, high-precision diagnostic work.
