The KG-5 / KG-5i Medical Microscope (ISI Marked) is a professional educational and clinical microscope designed for routine medical, pathology, and advanced student laboratory use. It features separate coarse and fine focusing with graduated scale, a triple revolving nosepiece, and a precision X-Y graduated mechanical stage (120 × 120 mm) for accurate slide manipulation. A focusable Abbe condenser (NA 1.25) with iris diaphragm and achromatic 10×, 40× S/L, and 100× S/L (oil) objectives deliver bright, high-contrast imaging with fine control.
Compared with the KG-2 Student Microscope, which offers a basic fixed condenser and straight monocular tube for introductory work, the KG-5 / KG-5i adds a focusable condenser, graduated stage, and oil immersion capability, making it better suited for advanced biological study and clinical preparations. Against the KG-3 Junior Microscope, the KG-5 series elevates performance with a larger movable stage, graduated focusing scale, and extended magnification range up to 100× oil, supporting deeper specimen analysis. The KG-5i version further provides an inclined viewing tube for ergonomic comfort, while the KG-5 retains a straight tube for traditional bench use.
