The Entoball is a 25-30 mm wooden ball hollowed out to hold a 12 mm disc of 25ID hardness Plastazote. Five bases are available, 8 mm, 16 mm, 32 mm, 48 mm (with cut-out) and 64 mm high. These various bases are specifically considered to meet all different kinds of needs while getting a perfect view of an insect. Few of the insects are of bigger in size and others are in smaller size. So, the height of the base, for example, 10mm might be too small that it can't get a perfect view of the insect as the difference of the height between the base of the stereomicroscope and the lens is higher than required.
