The ELITE Binocular Microscope represents a significant step up from the KG-5 / KG-5i series, moving from basic medical teaching use to precision laboratory and routine diagnostic work. It introduces a smooth co-axial coarse and fine focusing system with torque adjustment, replacing the conventional separate knobs for better stability and finer control at high magnifications.
Compared to the KG-5 models’ standard mechanical stage and mirror illumination, the ELITE features a ball-bearing, low-drive coaxial mechanical stage for effortless, vibration-free slide movement and a built-in 3W LED illumination with intensity control for bright, consistent lighting without external mirrors. The optical range is expanded to 4×, 10×, 40× (S/L), and 100× (S/L oil) achromatic objectives, paired with WF10×/16 mm eyepieces for a wider, clearer field of view.
With its focusable Abbe condenser (NA 1.25), multi-head viewing options (monocular, binocular, or trinocular), and improved ergonomics, the ELITE model delivers higher precision, smoother operation, and superior illumination control than the KG-5 / KG-5i, making it ideal for advanced education, clinical labs, and routine research applications.
