Insect Rearing cages(6S Series)
The 6s rearing cage is made of Netting (96 x 26 grids with 680 µm aperture) and clear plastic. The netting is used to get the air and ventilation to the cage and clear plastic is used to record the observations and video graph the observations.
The 6s insect cage is suitable for small potted plants since the spokes are made of aluminum. Front and back panels are of clear plastic for observing insect activity. Top and two side panels are of Polyester netting (96 x 26 mesh) for ventilation. A thin strip is sewn across the ceiling from which to suspend objects such as feeders. The zippered opening is large enough to insert potted plants. On the zippered opening is a sleeve opening for addition or removal of insects and replacement of food without letting insects escape. The framework of 6s insect cage is of durable aluminum and constructed outside the enclosure. There are no places for insects to hide inside the cage.
