Mouth sucking aspirator could be used to collect smaller insects in the field as well as from the laboratory. The tube opening is of 4-5mm which may be suitable to collect very small insects like whiteflies, aphids and small beetles etc. that have less than 3mm largest dimension. The aluminum pipes are angled such that they can be used to reach the insect closer by to suck the insect. Description
Insect aspirator is made of a styrene tube with easy-to-remove cap. The aspirator can be handled with one hand to open the tube cap and catch the insects. Clear 6mm silicone tube is attached as a mouth piece while 6-8mm metal tubing is used as to target the insect.
